Mobile Car Detailing ("we", "us") is a mobile car detailing service based in Vancouver, Washington, serving the Vancouver WA and Portland OR metro area. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and how we use it. The short version: we collect only what we need to quote, schedule, and perform your detail, and we never sell your information.
Information we collect
- Booking form: when you request a booking we collect your name, phone number, service address or city, preferred date and time, vehicle details, interior material, and any notes you add.
- Calls and texts: if you call or text us, we receive your phone number and anything you send, including photos of your vehicle you share for quoting.
- Technical data: our website does not use analytics or advertising trackers. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may temporarily log IP addresses and may set strictly necessary cookies for security and bot protection. These are not used to profile or advertise to you.
How we use your information
- To prepare your quote and confirm your price.
- To schedule, confirm, perform, and follow up on your detailing appointment.
- To respond when you contact us.
- To ask, after your service, whether you would like to leave a review. This is optional.
We do not sell your personal information, share it with data brokers, or use it for third-party advertising.
Who processes your information
We use a small number of service providers to run this website and communicate with you:
- Web3Forms delivers your booking form submission to our email.
- Google provides our email service and the fonts on this site. When the site loads fonts from Google, your browser shares your IP address with Google.
- Cloudflare hosts this website and provides security services.
Each provider receives only what it needs to perform its function.
Text messages
When you submit the booking form or text us, we will text or call you about your quote and appointment. These are service messages, not marketing. Reply STOP to any text and we will stop texting you.
Cookies
We do not set cookies for advertising or analytics. The only cookies that may appear come from our hosting provider and are strictly necessary for security. Because of this, the site does not show a cookie consent banner. If we ever add analytics or advertising tools, we will update this policy first.
How long we keep your information
We keep booking details and message history for as long as we need them for scheduling, service records, and basic bookkeeping. You can ask us at any time to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and we will honor the request unless we are required to keep a record (for example, for tax purposes).
Children
This website is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and its effective date.
